Father’s Day Finds

you can still have a meaningful celebration for your father or hubby. I have rounded up some gift ideas that would be a crowd pleaser for the classic man, the sporty man, the homebody, the traveling man and every man! They are all able to be shipped and some items are recurring monthly which is a gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.

My husband loves a great bottle of wine (or two lately) and Helen’s wines ships nationwide. Helen curates every bottle in her shop and sources from all over the world. She has such an incredible range, from red to white to orange and everything in between, at very decent price points. For the man who loves to cook and eat, which is my Dad (maybe not so much the cooking but the eating), I think a shipment of Snake River Farms meats is great. If you are feeling like you need that extra splurge, these colorful New West KnifeWorks knives are sure to make him feel like father of the year. They cut like buttah!

This summer will be all about relaxing around the house or a fun road trip so I think Patagonia products are a safe bet. Their functional sportswear and backpacks are always welcome. Being at home also means a headphone upgrade like these Beats could be nice, even if your guy is slapping ‘em on to hush the kid’s cacophony. And if you really want to amp up the music in the house, the Apple HomePod may be the right choice.

ALLBIRDS Men's Wool Runners

For the man who is an avid collector, I love buying books. This new one from Taschen has some incredible imagery of Muhammad Ali and George Foreman and will pop in any office or on a coffee table. For the classic man, I love gifting a simple wallet. I love this one from Gucci because it has a money clip attached to the back and a credit card holder in the front. Finally, staples like a good tee and a comfy pair of sneakers always work. I love The Great and Allbirds both of whom make elevated basics that don’t scream dad alert.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads. We LOVE you.

Fall Favorite Combo: Skirts & Sweaters

Skirts paired with a sweater, or better yet a turtleneck, just shout fall to me. The whisper of winter is on its way, but while the sun still feels relatively warm, we can still wear a chunky knit paired with a long skirt and no tights. To me, the recipe for a perfect Thanksgiving look is an oversized sweater + silky skirt + sensible shoe (low-mid heeled boot or mule / flat). It feels country and mature and down to earth.
