Giddy Up, Cowboy!

Many people are afraid to ride this fall trend. Sometimes people think that cowboy boots will make them look too country, but the runway looks this season showed us that there a lot of ways to make this accessory look totally chic. Whether you love it or hate it, you can’t deny that this is the hottest boot of the season.

FRYE Bruce Pull On

The Western look has been trendy every few decades, but many designers proved that that there are still fresh ways to rock this American staple. This is an accessory with a personality. Let’s saddle up and explore this year’s take on the Wild West fantasy.

Many European designers this season included Western-inspired pieces in their collections. While Europe is usually considered the mecca of haute couture, the world is finally appreciating traditional American style and incorporating it into high fashion. According to the Head of Catwalks Department at Worth Global Style Network, Lizzy Bowring, “this trend is not just sitting with American designers.”

Knee-high and thigh-high cowboys were a popular reinterpretation of the boot. Zimmerman paired the boots with feminine flowery patterns, flowy frills, and leather corsets. Even their runway was decorated with flowery patterns.

Etro’s fall 2018 ready-to-wear collection was bold and beautiful. This show paired boots with complimenting colours, fine knits, geometric patterns, and big blanket coats. Etro described it as “ethnic fututism.”

How to Wear the Cowboy Boot Trend

You don’t have to look like you’re about to step off the train into Westworld in order to pull off a great pair of cowboy boots. You can experiment with unique colors, lengths, stitching, and decorative details.

However, cowboy boots can stand out as a statement piece very easily it can sometimes be hard to put together pieces that work seamlessly. Many stylists recommend going for a less-is-more approach. Leather and silver accessories work best with the Western look and statement sun glasses go with everything.

Obviously, floral dresses are the perfect match for cowboy boots. Depending on the dress, you can decide if your look is country, boho, or preppy. We also recommend a dark wash denim to compliment your boots this fall. If you like the denim on denim look, also known as the Texan or Canadian Tuxedo, cowboy boots are a sure-fire choice.

Did She Really Get Pinned?

This season brooches are back and it makes me so nostalgic for my Grandmother. I pinned three different styles to this blazer and I love the lapel party that it created.
