JUST WHAT THE DR. ORDERED: Dr. Martens Lug Sole Boots

It’s no secret that Doc Martens are perennially in style. They’ve been around forever, since 1901 to be exact, and have been worn in fashion circles since the 60s. Personally, we wore them back in the 90s when we were loving Pearl Jam and Singles, and now all of the teens and teens are flexing their Docs on the streets of LA. Who can blame them? They are unbelievably comfortable, last forever, and totally go with everything.

We are partial to the Chelsea Boot style that has a lug sole and pulls on. The platform gives us petite gals some extra boost in the height department too!

Here is a top 5 list of styles of the lugs we love:

2976 Smooth Leather Platform Chelsea Boots in white, $180

2976 Smooth Leather Platform Chelsea Boots in black, $180

Jadon Smooth Leather Platform Boots, $180

1940 Pascal Metallic Leather Lace Up Boot, $105

2976 Faux Fur Lined Chelsea Boot, $160

It's such an easy look to pull off—I like it with or without shorts / pants— and there are SO many hi/lo options. Take a look!
