Visor Vision

Memorial Day weekend is here and we’re praying for sunshine here in grey LA. We’re optimists so we figure it’s time to mix up our hat game and try a visor on for size. This timeless hat is making a huge comeback and we are totally here for it.

Personally, I love updating my hat wardrobe every season. I am adventurous when it comes to fashion and definitely don’t stop at hats. Visors are no longer relegated to our grandmother’s generation or a dealer at the blackjack table (I’m from Vegas, remember?) but are rather a chic alternative to you current Panama hat or even basic baseball hat.

This summer, I am veering away from the typical sand-tone visor and trying something unexpected—I love this this bright red visor by Eugenia Kim. It’s just so kicky.

But if you are not ready to try a colored visor, then slide into something a bit safer like this rattan one from Janessa Leone. I love that it is neutral with the straw and caramel leather accent trim.

Regardless if you are on the visor train or not, it’s so important to protect your skin from the blazing summer sun so remember to slather on the sunscreen too.  Supergoop + sun hat / visor and you’ll be made in the shade.

Did She Really Get Pinned?

This season brooches are back and it makes me so nostalgic for my Grandmother. I pinned three different styles to this blazer and I love the lapel party that it created.
