San Ysidro Ranch– Tucked away in Montecito, the Santa Ysidro Ranch is oozing with history and famous guests—i.e. Jackie Kennedy—need we say more? The cottages are scattered throughout, and the spa is glorious. Get a room with a fireplace and cozy up for the night. The food also does not disappoint—their restaurant, the Stonehouse is world renown.
Rosewood Miramar- This newly opened Rosewood hotel is located right on the beach and clearly has a superstar location (it’s where Travis and Kourtney got engaged!). There are several rooms choices: from ocean front suites to private rooms around the garden, and everything in between. There’s an onsite James Perse store, The Webster, and a GOOP sundries store. You literally never need to leave. Between the pools, bars, and restaurants, you can stay on property all day and night. I especially love grabbing a cocktail in the Manor Bar then heading to dine oceanfront at Caruso’s. It’s great for adults but even better for the kiddos.
Palihouse Santa Barbara– Located in a quiet neighborhood (and in true Palihouse style), this hotel is meant to feel like a home away from home. Some of the rooms have SMEG refrigerators, fireplaces plus outdoor patios. Grab a cocktail in the courtyard before you head out to one of many restaurants and shops that are close to the hotel.
Eat & Drink:
Luckys Steakhouse– This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of SB! I love to grab a classic shaken cocktail, a steak, and some fries. Sit in a high top in the bar and enjoy the people watching!
La Super Rica Taqueria- This is a classic must stop! The line can be ridiculous but it is worth the wait for those handmade tortillas.
Jeannine’s Restaurant and Bakery– I love grabbing pastries and coffee whenever I am in town and Jeannine’s has been open for over 30 years serving simple yet delicious food. It’s even been dubbed, “the comfort clubhouse.”
Honor Bar– In all honesty, this is my favorite lunch spot. Of course, the service and food is top notch because its owned by the Hillstone Group. The Macho salad is my go-to and of course their burger.
Lucky Penny– If you are in the Funk Zone you need to stop and grab a wood fired pizza (might be the best I have had) and a frosè! Need I say more? Not in a pizza mood? The panini’s are also a must + a glass of wine.
Santa Barbara Zoo– This zoo is the BEST—it’s small and easy to get around for an afternoon. My kids love it and so do I!
Funk Zone- This part of town has so many breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and art galleries. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon.
P3- I head up here every week for a workout, physical therapy, and of course a Cryo session. It has the most talented, educated trainers and staff. They helped me gain strength and recover from my hip surgery.
Mollusk Surf Shop- I love popping in here to grab a cute bathing suit, wet suit for my kids, or even a pair of socks. This classic surf shop has everything from surf boards, boardshorts, kids clothes, and everything in between.
Channel Islands Surfbords Flagship- This is a must stop even if you are not a hardcore surfer. It’s the original Channel Islands store and has great tees, sweatshirts, or of course, surf gear.
Montecito Country Mart– Loves a Country Mart so of course I love this one too!
